Benefits & ADVANTAGES OF SOLAR
Low Maintenance - Operating costs are low because solar electricity needs very little maintenance, very few
spare parts, and no fuel.
Non-polluting - You will be part of the solution, and will reduce your "economic footprint". Evacuated tube solar collectors reduce CO2 emissions by more than 9000 tons annually.
Predictably Present - Unlike limited resources such as nuclear energy and fossil fuels, the sun will always be around and available for use.

Evacuated Tube Solar Collector Simple Operation |
- Solar Absorption: Solar radiation is absorbed by the evacuated tubes and converted into heat.
- Solar Heat Transfer: Heat pipes conduct the heat from within the solar tube up to the header.
- Solar Energy Storage: Water is circulated through the header, via intermittent pump cycling. Each time the water circulates through the header the temperature is raised by 5-10oC / 9-18oF. Throughout the day, the water in the storage tank is gradually heated.
